Hartsville technology innovation center

The Hartsville technology innovation center is designed to be a hub of new business ideas for the Pee Dee Region. Several people stopped by at the first idea open house to see how the Duke Energy Center for Innovation might help them move from idea to business. The Byerly Foundation has supported the Center with an initial grant of $100,000.

Brianna Douglas gave some remarks on behalf of the Byerly Foundation at the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Garrison's Playground.

Our mission is to improve the quality of life in Hartsville, South Carolina. We envision the Foundation as an instrument of positive change in our community. We will work with public and private interests to improve the education, economic and social needs of our citizens.
