Who is eligible?
The Byerly Foundation can make grants to qualifying 501-C-3 organizations and certain public, governmental units for charitable and community focused programs. The Foundation does not make grants to individuals and it does not fund scholarship programs.
What happens after grants are submitted?
All grant requests are read by the Trustees of The Foundation. The Trustees may request a grant to be explored further. In this case, a member of the Foundation staff will contact the organization applying for the grant.
What makes the board want to invest in a project?
The Byerly Foundation is proud to support organizations that positively impact the Hartsville community. These organizations work to improve education, social needs, and economic growth opportunities.
What is the best way for a first time applicant to get started?
